A Wander Through Ghana's Heritage— 2027

Accra | Cape Coast | Akosombo

JAN | FEB | MAR | APR | MAY | SEP | OCT | NOV

9 DAYS & 8 NIGHTS

Journey Overview

This 8-day journey blends the energy of Accra with the natural serenity of the Volta River. Guests begin with a warm welcome and a hands-on shea butter tradition, move through the solemn history of Cape Coast Castle, and are reborn into a Ghanaian community through a private rebirth ceremony before settling into the tranquil luxury of The Royal Senchi. Days on the river bring fair-trade craft, a sunset boat cruise, and a scenic pass through Aburi's botanical gardens on the way back to Accra for a joyful farewell. The pace is deliberately unhurried, with a full leisure day built in so guests return home rested, not just well-toured.

In a nearby village, a private Rebirth (Re-naming) Ceremony welcomes each guest into Ghanaian family and community life through drumming, dancing, and a name of their own.
