PLANNING YOUR JOURNEYS WITH US

2. DISCOVERY CALL

  • This is the first step in what will be a beautiful story. Start by completing our Journey/Services Request form or email us directly.

1. INITIATE YOUR JOURNEY

  • A Guest Experience Director will contact you via your preferred method to schedule a discovery call.

  • During the call, your Guest Experience Director will discuss your vision for your West African adventure and make personalized suggestions. We are here to offer expert advice to ensure you have the most memorable journey.

3. JOURNEY PLANNING FEE

  • After the discovery call, you will receive an email recap along with a confirmation form and an invoice for a non-refundable Journey Planning fee of $250. This fee will be deducted from the final invoice.

4. JOURNEY ITINERARY APPROVAL AND PAYMENT

  • Once you approve the itinerary, we will send you a final invoice. A 30% deposit, minus the Journey Planning fee, is required to secure your reservations. Full payment instructions can be found in our terms and conditions here.

  • We are happy to change aspects of your itinerary to suit your needs and preferences up to 45 days prior to your arrival. Changes made 0-44 days prior to your arrival may incur an additional charge.

5. PRE-ARRIVAL CONNECTION

  • One month before your arrival, you will be connected with your assigned Guest Experience Director and Tour Director via WhatsApp. They will be available 24/7 until you return home. Email will remain the official communication channel for all critical information and confirmations.

  • Emergency contact information will be shared on the WhatsApp group as well as via email for your convenience.

6. GROUP JOURNEY REQUIREMENTS

  • For group journeys with Group Leaders, a comprehensive rooming list and required documents will be requested 60 days before the scheduled departure date.

7. BUILDING SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITIES THROUGH TRANSPARENCY

  • As part of our commitment to building resilient African communities, we will share details of how a percentage of your experience with us is supporting the communities we work with. A receipt of that donation will be emailed to you 7 days after your return home.
