TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Last Updated: February 12, 2026
All bookings are made with SLL Journeys LLC ("SLL," "We," "Our," or "Company"). We specialize in providing exceptional travel experiences ("traveler" and "you"). By booking a trip with us, you are deemed to have agreed to these Terms and Conditions, which constitute the entire agreement between you and us, and your booking will be accepted on this basis.
Before making a booking with us, you must ensure that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions. Please be aware that these Terms and Conditions contain waivers of liability, arbitration clauses, and venue selection provisions. By confirming your booking, you are accepting all the Terms and Conditions laid out below. The services to be provided are those referred to in your booking confirmation invoice.
SECTION 1: BOOKING CONDITIONS
1. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance protection is mandatory for all travelers and must be obtained at the time of booking. We strongly encourage the purchase of Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) coverage. Travel protection plans, including CFAR coverage, must be purchased shortly after your initial trip deposit to maximize benefits.
If you choose to travel without adequate insurance coverage, SLL Journeys LLC will not be liable for any losses, costs, or expenses for which insurance coverage would otherwise have been available.
You must provide your travel insurance policy number and the insurance company's 24-hour emergency contact number before departure. Failure to provide this information may result in denial of participation. SLL Journeys LLC is not qualified to answer technical questions about insurance benefits, exclusions, or conditions. Please direct all insurance questions to your insurer or insurance agent.
Certain countries require valid medical insurance for entry. SLL Journeys LLC cannot be held responsible for denied entry due to lack of proper insurance documentation. Failing to purchase adequate travel protection could result in the loss of your travel costs with no means of recovery.
2. Personal Traveler Information
To confirm your travel arrangements, you must provide all requested information, including but not limited to: full name as it appears on your passport, date of birth, nationality, passport number, passport issue and expiry dates, and any pre-existing medical conditions that may affect your travel. Failure to provide accurate information may result in additional charges or non-refundable cancellation.
2.a. Age Requirements
Minimum Age: For most trips, the minimum age is 18 at the time of travel. Some trips may have different age requirements, which will be specified in the trip details.
Maximum Age: There is no upper age limit. However, travelers must ensure they are physically fit for their chosen itinerary, as some trips may be physically demanding.
2.b. Health Requirements
While we can provide general information on health requirements, we are not medical experts. It is your responsibility to obtain proper medical advice at least two months prior to travel regarding the latest health requirements, vaccinations, and recommendations for your destination.
2.c. Pre-Existing Medical Conditions and Disabilities
You must advise us before booking if you have any disability or pre-existing medical condition that may affect your trip, or if you require special accommodations. This allows us to assess the suitability of the arrangements and assist with your booking.
Some destinations may not be suitable for travelers using wheelchairs or with limited mobility. However, we are happy to discuss your participation. SLL Journeys LLC will communicate accommodation requests to suppliers but cannot guarantee their availability. Any accommodations provided will be at the traveler's expense. Accommodations outside the USA may not comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Travelers with disabilities must notify SLL Journeys LLC at the time of booking and identify their travel companion who will provide necessary assistance. We may request a letter from your doctor confirming your fitness to travel.
2.d. Physical Fitness Requirements
Certain trips require specific levels of physical fitness. Trip descriptions include activity ratings indicating the level of exertion required. You are responsible for honestly assessing your fitness level and selecting appropriate trips. Activities may include extended periods of walking, hiking at altitude, water sports, or other physically demanding experiences. If you have concerns about your ability to participate in any activity, consult your physician before booking.
3. Passports
You must carry a valid passport that is valid for at least six (6) months beyond the duration of your trip. SLL Journeys LLC is not responsible if you are refused entry to a country due to an invalid or expired passport.
4. Visas
You must obtain all appropriate visas, permits, and certificates for countries you will visit during your trip. It is your sole responsibility to ensure you possess the correct documentation. Refer to your trip's Essential Information for details. SLL Journeys LLC is not responsible if you are refused entry due to lack of proper documentation.
5. Photos and Marketing
You consent to SLL Journeys LLC using images of you taken during trips for advertising and promotional purposes in any medium. You grant us a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable license to use such images for publicity and promotional purposes.
6. Authority on Tour
Our trips are led by experienced tour guides and guest experience curators whose decisions are final on all matters affecting the safety or well-being of any traveler or staff member. If you fail to comply with a tour guide/guest experience curator’s decision or interfere with the group's well-being or mobility, the tour guide may direct you to leave the trip immediately with no right of refund.
We may also refuse to carry you on future trips. You must comply with the laws, customs, foreign exchange regulations, and drug laws of all countries visited. You agree to travel in accordance with our responsible travel guidelines.
7. Trip Dates and Validity
Dates are valid and itineraries are indicative. Trips are guaranteed to depart once minimum enrollment numbers are met or when one fully paid traveler is confirmed (for trips without minimum requirements). Group sizes may vary, and some travelers may have been traveling together before you join.
7.a. Minimum and Maximum Group Size
Each trip has specified minimum and maximum group sizes listed in the trip details. Minimum group sizes typically range from 10 and above travelers, while maximum sizes vary by destination and trip type. If minimum enrollment is not met, SLL Journeys LLC reserves the right to cancel the trip or offer alternative arrangements.
8. Changes to Itinerary
Travel requires flexibility. Routes, schedules, itineraries, amenities, and transportation modes may be altered without prior notice due to local circumstances or events. While we endeavor to operate trips as described, we reserve the right to make changes.
Before Departure: If we make a major change (affecting at least one day in five of the itinerary), we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible.
After Departure: We reserve the right to change itineraries due to local circumstances or events beyond our control. You will be responsible for additional costs of necessary alterations. We are not responsible for incidental expenses such as visas, vaccinations, or non-refundable flights resulting from itinerary changes.
8.a. Weather-Related Delays and Cancellations
Weather conditions may cause delays, cancellations, or modifications to activities, transportation, or accommodations. SLL Journeys LLC is not responsible for weather-related disruptions. You are responsible for any additional costs incurred due to weather delays, including extended hotel stays, meals, or alternative transportation. We will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative activities when weather prevents planned activities, but no refunds will be provided for weather-related cancellations.
9. Destination Risk
Travel to certain destinations may involve greater risk than others. SLL Journeys LLC urges travelers to remain informed about current news, travel prohibitions, warnings, and advisories. We recommend consulting government websites (such as travel.state.gov) for current information.
If you choose to travel to a destination with active travel warnings or advisories, SLL Journeys LLC will not be liable for damages or losses resulting from such travel. You should verify compliance with all entry requirements, including health regulations and local laws.
10. Claims and Complaints
If you have a complaint during your trip, please inform your tour guide or guest experience curator immediately so they can attempt to resolve the matter. If the issue remains unresolved, submit a written complaint to us within thirty (30) days of the end of the trip.
11. Booking on Behalf of Others
If you make a booking on behalf of other travelers, you warrant that you have authority to accept these Terms and Conditions on their behalf. You are responsible for ensuring all travelers in your party are aware of and agree to these Terms and Conditions. The person making the booking is jointly and severally liable for payment of all amounts due, including any cancellation charges, and is responsible for communicating all information regarding the booking to other travelers in the party.
12. Roommate Matching
If you request to share accommodations with another traveler (roommate matching), SLL Journeys LLC will make reasonable efforts to pair you with a compatible roommate. However, we cannot guarantee compatibility or availability of roommates. If a suitable roommate cannot be found, you may be required to pay the single supplement fee or cancel subject to the cancellation policy.
If roommate conflicts arise during the trip that cannot be resolved, and one party requests separate accommodations, the party requesting the change will be responsible for any additional costs, including single supplement fees. SLL Journeys LLC is not liable for roommate incompatibility or conflicts.
13. Official Communication
All official communications between SLL Journeys LLC and travelers will be conducted via email to the address provided at the time of booking. It is your responsibility to ensure your email address is current and to monitor your email regularly, including spam folders. Communications sent via email are deemed received 24 hours after sending. You must notify us immediately of any change to your email address. SLL Journeys LLC is not responsible for communications not received due to outdated contact information or email delivery issues.
SECTION 2: HEALTH AND SAFETY PROTOCOLS
1. Communicable Disease Protocol
In the event of an outbreak of communicable disease (including but not limited to influenza, COVID-19, or other infectious diseases), SLL Journeys LLC reserves the right to implement health and safety protocols as required by local authorities or as we deem necessary. This may include requiring proof of vaccination, negative test results, mask-wearing, health screenings, or quarantine periods.
You acknowledge that travel during disease outbreaks carries inherent health risks. By choosing to travel, you voluntarily assume these risks. If you test positive for a communicable disease before or during the trip, you may be required to isolate, quarantine, or return home at your own expense. Travel insurance with medical and quarantine coverage is strongly recommended.
SLL Journeys LLC will not be liable for any illness, injury, quarantine costs, extended stays, or other consequences resulting from communicable disease exposure during travel. Health protocols may be updated at any time in response to changing conditions.
2. Medical Emergency Procedures
In the event of a medical emergency, SLL Journeys LLC and our tour guides will make reasonable efforts to arrange for appropriate medical care. However, we are not liable for the availability, quality, or cost of medical services. All medical expenses, including emergency evacuation, hospitalization, and medication, are your sole responsibility and must be paid directly by you.
You must carry adequate travel insurance that covers medical emergencies, medical evacuation, and repatriation. Medical facilities in some destinations may not meet Western standards. Emergency evacuation from remote areas can be extremely expensive and may not be immediately available. You are responsible for all costs associated with medical emergencies, including evacuation, regardless of insurance coverage.
Required Documentation: You must complete and submit a medical information form before departure, disclosing all relevant medical conditions, allergies, and medications. Failure to disclose medical conditions may result in denial of participation or removal from the trip without refund.
3. Alcohol and Substance Policy
While we recognize that moderate alcohol consumption may be part of the travel experience, travelers must remain responsible and respectful at all times. Excessive intoxication, disruptive behavior, or illegal drug use will not be tolerated and may result in immediate removal from the trip without refund.
Travelers must comply with all local laws regarding alcohol consumption and controlled substances. Illegal drug use or possession is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal from the trip and potential reporting to local authorities. You are solely responsible for any legal consequences of your actions.
SLL Journeys LLC reserves the right to refuse service to or remove any traveler who is intoxicated or under the influence of illegal substances, particularly when such condition poses a safety risk or disrupts the group. No refunds will be provided in such circumstances.
SECTION 3: PAYMENT TERMS
1. Accepted Payment Methods
We accept payment via major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover as well as direct bank transfers (ACH or SWIFT). You must provide authorization for every transaction. Your authorization constitutes agreement to charge your card and acknowledgment of these Terms and Conditions, including cancellation terms. You agree not to make improper chargebacks
2. Currency and Exchange Rates
All prices are quoted and payable in United States Dollars (USD). If you are paying from outside the United States, your credit card company or bank will convert the charge to your local currency at their prevailing exchange rate. You are responsible for any currency conversion fees charged by your financial institution. SLL Journeys LLC bears no responsibility for exchange rate fluctuations between the time of booking and the time of payment processing.
3. Price Variability
Trip prices are subject to variable and seasonal pricing, which is standard industry practice. Prices may vary at any time based on demand, market conditions, exchange rates, and availability. Different passengers on the same trip may have paid different prices. The most current pricing is available on our website or will be communicated to you via email.
4. Discounts and Sales
We may offer sales, discounts, or promotional pricing from time to time. Each sale is exclusive and will not apply retroactively to previous bookings. Discounts available after you've paid your deposit will not apply. If you wish to cancel to take advantage of lower pricing, full cancellation conditions apply (see Section 4).
If you transfer to a different destination after booking with a discount, you are not entitled to transfer the discount to the new booking.
5. Gift Certificates and Vouchers
Gift certificates and travel vouchers issued by SLL Journeys LLC are valid for twelve (12) months from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Gift certificates are non-refundable and non-transferable (except as a gift). The full value must be redeemed in a single booking; partial redemptions are not permitted, and unused portions will be forfeited.
Gift certificates may not be redeemed for cash. If the trip cost exceeds the gift certificate value, the balance must be paid by the recipient. Gift certificates cannot be combined with other promotional discounts unless explicitly stated. Lost or stolen gift certificates cannot be replaced.
6. Payment Plans and Installments
Beyond the standard deposit and final balance structure, SLL Journeys LLC may offer customized payment plans upon request. All payment plan arrangements must be confirmed in writing and are subject to approval. Missed payments may result in late fees of $100 per occurrence and may jeopardize your reservation.
Regardless of any payment plan, the full trip balance must be paid no later than ninety (90) days before departure. Failure to complete payments on schedule may result in automatic cancellation of your booking, and you will be subject to the applicable cancellation fees in Section 4.
7. Surcharges
We reserve the right to impose surcharges up to thirty (30) days before departure due to unfavorable exchange rate changes, increases in transportation costs, increases in supplier costs, taxes, or government action. If any surcharge exceeds 10% of the trip price, you may cancel within fourteen (14) days of notification and receive a full refund.
8. Price Inclusions
The trip price includes:
8.a. Accommodation
All accommodation as specified in your itinerary, typically in double occupancy rooms and limited single occupancy spaces. Special requests such as specific floors, connecting rooms, or smoking preferences must be made at booking. While we communicate requests to suppliers, they are not guaranteed and may incur additional charges.
Hotel standards, room sizes, and facilities vary by region and may differ from US standards. This includes bed sizes, room sizes, bathroom amenities, air conditioning, and ADA compliance. SLL Journeys LLC reserves the right to substitute similar hotels if necessary, without prior notice. We are not responsible for hotel overbookings but will find similar accommodations if they occur.
8.b. Ground Transportation
All ground transportation as listed in your itinerary. You must be on time for all scheduled transportation. There will be no refund for missed or unused transportation.
8.c. Activities and Sightseeing
Sightseeing tours and activities as stated in your itinerary. Tours and activities accommodate individuals and groups. You must be on time for all scheduled experiences. Tours will begin on schedule; late arrivals are considered no-shows with no refunds available.
8.d. Meals
Meals as indicated in your itinerary. Special dietary requirements should be requested at booking; however, accommodating special diets may not be possible in all destinations. For safety and liability reasons, SLL Journeys LLC cannot be held responsible for food allergies, dietary restrictions, or related issues. We will communicate your requests to hotels but cannot guarantee their availability.
8.e. Local Guide
Services of an experienced local tour guide as described in your itinerary.
9. Price Exclusions
Items not mentioned in your itinerary are not included in the trip price, including but not limited to:
International or domestic flights unless specified
Airport transfers, taxes, and excess baggage charges unless specified
Meals other than those specified
Visa and passport fees
Travel insurance
Gratuities and tips
Optional activities
Personal expenses
Single supplement fees (see Section 3.10)
The price also does not cover costs if you leave the trip voluntarily, due to our decision based on disruptive behavior, illness, government action, or any other reason.
10. Single Supplement Fees
Trip prices are based on double occupancy (two travelers sharing a room). Solo travelers who wish to have a private room must pay a single supplement fee, which varies by destination and is specified in the trip details. The single supplement is non-refundable once paid, even if you later find a roommate or cancel your trip.
If you initially book with a roommate but your roommate cancels or you wish to separate before departure, you will be responsible for paying the single supplement fee. If separation occurs during the trip, you will be charged the applicable single supplement for remaining nights.
11. Optional Activities
Optional activities may be offered in certain destinations and can be added during booking or while on tour (subject to availability). If added while on tour, your card on file will be automatically charged. Cancellation of optional activities may result in full or partial refunds depending on the activity. Optional activities are not included in the base trip price.
During free time, you may participate in activities not provided by SLL Journeys LLC at your own expense. Any assistance from your tour guide in arranging such activities does not render SLL Journeys LLC liable. The contract for such activities is between you and the activity provider.
12. Non-Refundable Deposit and Booking Confirmation
A stipulated non-refundable deposit is required at the time of reservation to confirm your booking. You will receive a confirmation email detailing your reservation terms. A contract exists between us from the date we issue your confirmation.
If booking within sixty (60) days of departure, the full trip amount is payable at booking and serves as your deposit.
13. Final Balance Payments
The trip balance is due ninety (60) days before departure. You may make multiple payments of any amount before this deadline. If you have not paid the full balance by the final payment deadline, your card on file will be automatically charged for the remaining balance plus a $100 late payment fee.
If full payment is not received by the final payment deadline and no cancellation has been requested, SLL Journeys LLC reserves the right to treat your booking as cancelled, and the cancellation policy in Section 4 will apply.
SECTION 4: CANCELLATIONS AND TRANSFERS
1. Cancellation by Traveler
To request cancellation, email us at discover@slljourneys.com. The date we receive your email serves as your official cancellation request date. We strongly advise purchasing cancellation insurance at the time of booking. All deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances.
1a. Cancellation by the Client
An non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.
If cancellation occurs 120 days before the package start date, a full refund minus the non-refundable deposit will be given.
If cancellation occurs between 90 - 119 days before the package start date, 50% of the remaining cost after the non-refundable deposit will be refunded.
If cancellation occurs 46 - 89 days before the tour start date, 20% of the remaining cost of the package after the non-refundable deposit will be refunded.
If cancellation occurs 0 - 45 days before the package start date, no refund will be given.
1b. Cancellation While on Trip
If you leave a trip after it has commenced for any reason, we are not obliged to make refunds for unused services. If you fail to join a trip, join after departure, or leave before completion, no refund will be made. Cancellation fees are in addition to any fees levied by accommodation providers, travel agents, or third-party suppliers.
2. Cancellation by Supplier
If a supplier needs to make significant changes to or cancel your booking, we will inform you as soon as possible and liaise regarding alternative arrangements. SLL Journeys LLC incurs costs with suppliers well in advance. All suppliers have their own cancellation policies. Upon cancellation, we will contact suppliers for applicable refunds subject to their terms. Suppliers are responsible for any refunds, not SLL Journeys LLC. Suppliers may provide travel vouchers or credits instead of refunds. We are not responsible for supplier failure to pay refunds or for supplier bankruptcy or insolvency.
3. Cancellation by SLL Journeys LLC
While we do not anticipate doing so, we may cancel a trip at any time prior to departure. If we cancel your trip (other than due to Force Majeure as described in Section 4.6), you may receive a one-time transfer of all amounts paid to an alternate date or trip within the calendar year, or you may receive a refund. Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances.
We are not responsible for incidental expenses you may have incurred as a result of your booking, including visas, vaccinations, travel insurance, or non-refundable flights.
We may cancel an individual booking if the participant has significantly violated community standards or has been abusive to our staff. In such cases, the participant forfeits costs associated with the cancelled booking, at minimum a $200 administrative fee plus a 10% transaction fee, and potentially the entire payment.
4. Transferring Dates
With written notification at least ninety-one (61) days before your original departure date, you may request changes to your trip dates with no change fees. If notification is provided ninety (60) days or less from departure, you are not entitled to a date transfer and are subject to the cancellation terms in Section 4.1. No amendments are permitted within fourteen (14) days of departure.
5. Transferring Destinations
With written notification at least ninety-one (61) days before your original departure date, you may request a destination change with no change fees. If notification is provided ninety (60) days or less from departure, you are not entitled to a destination transfer and are subject to the cancellation terms in Section 4.1. No amendments are permitted within fourteen (14) days of departure.
6. Force Majeure
SLL Journeys LLC assumes no liability for any loss, damage, delay, or cancellation resulting from Force Majeure, including but not limited to: acts of God, fire, volcanic eruption, hurricane, environmental pollution, inclement weather, earthquake, flood, water or power failures, tropical storms, riots, civil disturbances, sabotage, strikes, labor disruptions, government actions, acts of terrorism, war, insurrection, quarantine restrictions, government health advisories, epidemics, pandemics, or any other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
In circumstances constituting Force Majeure, we will not be required to refund any money, although we will refund any monies recovered from suppliers, without any charge by SLL Journeys LLC.
SECTION 5: TRAVELER CONDUCT AND PROPERTY
1. Conduct Standards and Behavioral Expectations
All travelers are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful, courteous manner toward fellow travelers, tour guides, local communities, and SLL Journeys LLC staff. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, discrimination, threatening behavior, or any conduct that creates an unsafe or hostile environment.
Prohibited conduct includes but is not limited to: verbal or physical harassment based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, nationality, or any other protected characteristic; unwanted sexual advances or inappropriate touching; threatening, intimidating, or violent behavior; theft or damage to property; and persistent disruptive behavior that negatively affects the group experience.
Violation of these conduct standards may result in immediate removal from the trip without refund. SLL Journeys LLC reserves the right to report illegal behavior to local authorities. You are solely responsible for any legal consequences of your conduct.
2. Social Media and Photography Policy
While we encourage travelers to share their experiences on social media, you must respect the privacy of fellow travelers. Do not post identifiable photos or information about other travelers without their explicit consent. When tagging SLL Journeys LLC or using company hashtags, ensure your content is respectful and does not misrepresent the trip or company.
You are responsible for complying with local laws and cultural norms regarding photography. Some sites prohibit photography or require permits. Failure to comply with photography restrictions may result in fines, confiscation of equipment, or legal action, for which you are solely responsible.
Do not post negative, defamatory, or misleading content about SLL Journeys LLC, our staff, suppliers, or destinations. If you have concerns about your trip, please address them through the proper complaint channels outlined in Section 1.10.
3. Personal Property and Valuables
SLL Journeys LLC, our staff, tour guides, and suppliers are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to your personal property at any time during the trip. This includes but is not limited to: luggage, electronics, jewelry, cash, credit cards, passports, cameras, clothing, and any other personal belongings.
You are solely responsible for securing your belongings. We recommend using hotel safes when available, not leaving valuables unattended, and carrying only what is necessary for daily activities. Travel insurance that covers theft and loss of personal property is strongly recommended.
If theft occurs, you must file a police report and obtain documentation for insurance claims. SLL Journeys LLC will provide reasonable assistance in contacting local authorities but assumes no financial responsibility for stolen items.
SECTION 6: LIABILITY, RISK, AND LEGAL PROVISIONS
1. Limitation of Liability
SLL Journeys LLC and its employees, agents, and representatives may use third-party suppliers to arrange tours, transportation, lodging, and all other services. SLL Journeys LLC is an independent contractor and is not an employee, agent, or representative of these suppliers. SLL Journeys LLC does not own, manage, operate, supervise, or control any transportation, vehicle, airplane, hotel, restaurant, or other entity that supplies services.
All suppliers are independent contractors and are not agents, employees, or representatives of SLL Journeys LLC. All tickets, receipts, coupons, and vouchers are issued subject to the terms and conditions specified by each supplier. By accepting these documents or utilizing services, all travelers agree that neither SLL Journeys LLC nor its employees, agents, or representatives are or may be liable for any loss, injury, or damage to any traveler or their belongings, or otherwise, in connection with any service supplied or not supplied resulting directly or indirectly from any occurrence beyond our control.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release us and our officers, employees, agents, and representatives from any liability and expressly waive any claims you may have against us arising out of or in connection with your participation in a trip, including any liability for any loss, death, injury, or damage.
Any claim by you is excluded to the extent that it is for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, economic loss, or indirect, special, punitive, or exemplary damages. SLL Journeys LLC will not be liable for amounts exceeding the total amount paid by you for your trip.
2. Acceptance of Risk
You acknowledge that travel involves inherent risks and that participation is at your own risk. You will visit places where political, cultural, and geographical attributes present dangers and physical challenges greater than those in daily life. Inherent risks include, but are not limited to:
Motor vehicle collisions and roadway hazards
Encounters with animals, insects, and reptiles
Criminal or terrorist acts
Government actions
Consumption of food or water that may cause illness
Exposure to weather elements including heat, cold, sun, water, and wind
Your own negligence or the negligence of others
Accidents or illness in remote locations without medical services
Physical exertion for which you are not prepared
Known or unknown medical conditions
You understand that unknown or unanticipated risks may result in injury, illness, or death. You are willing to accept these risks and uncertainties as an integral part of travel. You accept full responsibility for all risks and agree to hold harmless and fully release SLL Journeys LLC from all claims, including claims of third-party negligence. This agreement also binds your heirs, legal representatives, and assigns.
3. Class Action Waiver and Arbitration
You agree to bring claims against SLL Journeys LLC only in your individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class action or representative proceeding. SLL Journeys LLC shall not be liable for other than compensatory damages. By paying a deposit, you expressly waive any right to punitive damages.
You agree that any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in a mutually agreed location or virtually. You waive any right to a jury trial. If the arbitration clause is found to be unenforceable in any jurisdiction, the remaining provisions of these Terms and Conditions shall remain in full force and effect.
No claims will be considered and you will not bring suit against SLL Journeys LLC unless you have first provided written notice of claim to SLL Journeys LLC within thirty (30) days after the trip or cancellation of the trip.
4. Statute of Limitations
Any claim against SLL Journeys LLC must be brought within one (1) year from the date of the incident giving rise to the claim or the scheduled end date of the trip, whichever is earlier. After this period, all claims are forever barred. This limitation period applies regardless of whether the claim is brought in arbitration, court, or any other forum.
5. Disputed Charges and Chargebacks
Before initiating a chargeback, please contact us to discuss any concerns about charges. We will work with you to resolve your concerns. By using our service, you accept and agree to our cancellation policy. SLL Journeys LLC retains the right to dispute improper chargebacks and recover costs, including attorney's fees. We may cancel any travel reservation related to an improper chargeback.
The following chargeback scenarios are improper:
Chargebacks resulting from non-cancellable reservations
Chargebacks resulting from charges authorized by third parties with access to your card (excluding fraud)
Chargebacks arising from supplier product descriptions
Chargebacks resulting from Force Majeure or circumstances beyond our control
Chargebacks because you disagree with the cancellation policy
SECTION 7: GENERAL PROVISIONS

3. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which SLL Journeys LLC is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes not resolved through arbitration shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in that state.
4. Severability
If any term or condition is found to be unenforceable or void by operation of law or as being against public policy, that term shall be deemed severed or amended only to the extent necessary to allow all remaining terms and conditions to survive and continue as binding. The invalidity of any provision shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision.
5. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions, together with your booking confirmation, constitute the entire agreement between you and SLL Journeys LLC and supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties, whether written or oral.
6. Assignment and Transfer
